I accept most Carefirst Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans, as well as Blue Choice. However, insurance policies vary widely and each client's policy may include a deductible which must be met before coverage begins. It is the client's responsibility to verify coverage, including the amount of the co-pay, with the insurance provider before the first therapy session.
For all other insurances, I am an "out-of-network" provider. This means that the client is responsible for payment of the entire fee at the time of service. I will provide a receipt that may be submitted to the insurance provider for partial reimbursement, if the policy allows out-of-network benefits. For medicare I am in an "opt-out" status which means that medicare will not reimburse for my services.
Fees are $190 for the initial intake session and $160 for each subsequent session. Therapy sessions are 50 minutes in length.
